Paul E. Jacobs has served as a director since June 2005 and as our Chief Executive Officer since July 2005. He served as Group President of the Qualcomm Wireless & Internet Group from July 2001 to June 2005. In addition, he served as an Executive Vice President from February 2000 to June 2005. Dr. Jacobs holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Paul Jacobs is the son of Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, Chairman of our Board of Directors, and the brother of Jeffrey A. Jacobs, President of Qualcomm Global Development.

Steven R. Altman President, Qualcomm
Steven R. Altman has served as our President since July 2005. He served as an Executive Vice President from November 1997 to June 2005 and as President of Qualcomm Technology Licensing from September 1995 to April 2005. Mr. Altman currently serves on the board of Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He received a B.S. degree from Northern Arizona University and a J.D. from the University of San Diego.
Marvin Blecker Executive Vice President and President, Qualcomm Technology Licensing
Marvin Blecker has served as President of Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) since April 2005. From November 2001 to April 2005, he served as General Manager of QTL, as well as Senior Vice President of that division from October 1995 to November 2001. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics and a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering-Systems Science from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, New York (now Polytechnic University).
Andrew Gilbert Executive Vice President and President of QIS/MFT and Qualcomm Europe
Andrew Gilbert has served as President of Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) and MediaFLO Technologies (MFT) since January 2008 and Qualcomm Europe since February 2006. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Gilbert served as vice president and general manager of Flarion Technologies' European, Middle Eastern and African regions (EMEA), responsible for EMEA strategy and operations.
Jeffrey A. Jacobs Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Jeffrey A. Jacobs has served as Chief Marketing Officer since January 2008. He served as President of Qualcomm Global Development from May 2001 to January 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Development from June 1999 to May 2001. Mr. Jacobs holds a B.A. degree in International Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Jeffrey Jacobs is the son of Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, Chairman of our Board of Directors, and the brother of Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, a member of our Board of Directors and our Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Sanjay K. Jha Chief Operating Officer and President, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Group
Sanjay K. Jha has served as Group President, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) since February 2004 and as an Executive Vice President since December 2003. He was appointed President of QCT in January 2003. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Technologies & Ventures from March 2002 to January 2003 and as a Senior Vice President, Engineering from July 1998 to March 2002. Dr. Jha holds a Ph.D. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Scotland and a B.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Liverpool, England.
Margaret L. Johnson Executive Vice President of the Americas and India
Margaret "Peggy" L. Johnson has served as executive vice president of the Americas and India since January 2008. She served as President of Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) from July 2001 to January 2008 and as President of Qualcomm MediaFLO Technologies from December 2005 to January 2008. She served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of QIS from September 2000 to July 2001. Ms. Johnson holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
William E. Keitel Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
William E. Keitel has served as an Executive Vice President since December 2003 and as our Chief Financial Officer since February 2002. He previously served as a Senior Vice President and as our Corporate Controller from May 1999 to February 2002. Mr. Keitel received a M.B.A. from Arizona State University and a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
Len J. Lauer Executive Vice President and Group President
Len J. Lauer has served as executive vice president of Qualcomm and group president since December 2006. He was chief operating officer of Sprint Nextel from August 2005 to December 2006. Mr. Lauer was President and COO of Sprint Corporation from September 2003 until the Sprint-Nextel merger in August 2005. Prior to that, he was President-Sprint PCS from October 2002 until October 2004, and was President-Long Distance (formerly the Global Markets Group) from September 2000 until October 2002. Mr. Lauer also served in several executive positions at Bell Atlantic Corp. from 1992 to 1998. Mr. Lauer currently serves on the board of H&R Block. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of California, San Diego.
James Lederer Executive Vice President, QCT Business Planning and Finance
James Lederer has served as executive vice president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Business Planning and Finance since May 2008. Lederer joined the company in 1997. He earned a bachelor of science in business administration and finance and a masters degree in business administration, both awarded by the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Steve Mollenkopf Executive Vice President, QCT Product Management
Steve Mollenkopf has served as executive vice president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Project Management since May 2008. He began his Qualcomm career in 1994 and served in various capacities within the QCT organization. Mollenkopf holds two electrical engineering degrees, including a BSEE from Virginia Tech and an MSEE from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Dr. Roberto Padovani Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Roberto Padovani has served as an Executive Vice President and as our Chief Technology Officer since January 2002. He previously served as Senior Vice President from July 1996 to July 2001 and as Executive Vice President from July 2001 to January 2002 of our Corporate Research and Development. Dr. Padovani received a Laureate degree from the University of Padova, Italy and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, all in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Donald J. Rosenberg Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Donald J. Rosenberg has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since October 2007. He served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Apple from December 2006 to October 2007. From May 1975 to November 2006 Mr. Rosenberg held numerous positions at IBM, including Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the IBM Corporation. He earned his B.S. degree from the State of University of New York at Stony Brook and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.
Dr. Daniel L. Sullivan Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Daniel L. Sullivan has served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources since August 2001. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources from February 1996 to July 2001. Dr. Sullivan holds a Ph.D. in Organization Communication from the University of Nebraska. He also holds B.S and M.A. degrees in Communication from Illinois State University and West Virginia University, respectively.
Jing Wang Executive Vice President, Qualcomm Asia Pacific & Middle East and Africa
Jing Wang has served as executive vice president, Qualcomm Asia Pacific & Middle East and Africa since January 2008. Wang also serves as a director on the boards of both Qualcomm Wireless Communication Technologies (China) Ltd., and Qualcomm Wireless Semi-Conductor Technologies Ltd., two wholly foreign owned enterprises duly established in China. He received his bachelor's degree from Anhui University, LL.M from the People's University of China, Department of Law, and an LL.M from the University of Virginia School of Law.
