Administrative Law Judge Grants Qualcomm's Motion to Terminate Nokia's International Trade Commission Complaint

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, today announced that the Administrative Law Judge issued an initial determination terminating an investigation based on a complaint filed by Nokia against Qualcomm on August 16. Administrative Law Judge Paul J. Luckern granted Qualcomm's motion to terminate the investigation in light of the arbitration pending between the parties regarding their 2001 Subscriber Unit and Infrastructure Equipment License Agreement. Judge Luckern's initial determination will become the Commission's final decision unless the Commission decides within 30 days to review the decision.
