"We are proud of this milestone with Qualcomm because we're delivering a variety of phones with better performance, delighting customers with a great experience."

The two companies first announced their collaborative relationship in May 2006 and have since continued their relationship to include collaborative development work on the MSM7225(TM) solution for HSPA and MSM7525(TM) chipset for CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Rev. A, which are designed to expand mobile broadband smartphones beyond the enterprise segment into mainstream consumer markets by enabling even lower-cost devices.
